An Analysis of the Impact of CETA Programs on Participants' Earnings
使用最近邻匹配法评估CETA项目对参与者项目后收入的影响,发现对成年男性有显著负效应,对成年女性有微弱正效应,但结果对比较组选择敏感。
This paper provides estimates of the impact of CETA programs on participants' postprogram earnings using matched comparison groups developed from a nearestneighbor matching technique. Our basic results indicate that CETA has a negative and statistically significant earnings impact for adult men, and a modest, but not statistically significant, positive earnings impact for adult women. This pattern, however, is quite sensitive to whether individuals without recent labor market attachment are included in the comparison group and to how close to the date of enrollment preprogram earnings are measured.
