The first series of Danish input-output tables comprising a decade (1966-75) is described. The high instability of these tables is shown and analyzed. Then the proper way of endogenizing input-output coefficients in macroeconomic models is discussed. It is argued that this can be done with a few sectors, as disaggregation of the demand side is more important than that of the production side. Moreover, if the number of sectors is low, more sophisticated production functions can be used. An example of this-the Diewert production function-is given.
