ABSTRACT This note draws upon the spatial-hedonic analysis of Cohen and Coughlin to clarify the role of spatial multipliers in regression specification and benefits measurement, and to demonstrate the appropriate calculation of these benefits from dummy-variable coefficients in semi-logarithmic spatial-lag models.
