Designing Expert Systems for Effective Delivery of Extension Programming
从学习理论角度讨论专家系统的设计,评估其为牧场主开发的样本系统相比传统推广方法在成本效益和教育效果上的表现。
Abstract Expert systems offer potential as important additions to the current methods used to deliver extension programming to clients. This paper discusses the design of such systems from the viewpoint of learning theory and assesses the cost effectiveness, relative to standard extension programming approaches, of a sample system developed for use with/by cattle ranchers. Results indicate that hybrid expert systems have greater educational impact than traditional programming methods and are more cost effective.
