The state, planning and labour: Towards transforming the colonial labour process in Zimbabwe
研究了津巴布韦向社会主义过渡初期,如何在避免经济崩溃的同时改造殖民劳动过程,指出强调保护生产力可能被既得利益者利用来阻碍根本变革。
The transition to socialism involves a number of interrelated and often contradictory processes: on the one hand, the need to transform colonial structures; while, on the other hand, because of the necessity to avoid economic collapse, productive forces must be preserved. Planning in such a context should address the issue of the transformation of colonial‐capitalist labour processes in the early stages of the transition as colonial labour regimes enter crisis. The Zimbabwean experience shows that the emphasis on preserving productive forces ‐ while an important aspect of transition ‐ can provide a convenient platform for those forces in society which have little interest in fundamental change.
