Need for Clarity as a Moderator of the Role Ambiguity-Job Satisfaction Relationship
研究调查了清晰度需求是否调节角色模糊与工作满意度的关系。对370名员工问卷调查发现,清晰度需求独立预测工作满意度,高需求者满意度更低,但未起到真正的调节作用。
The use of need for clarity as a moderator of the relationship between role ambiguity and job satisfaction was investigated. A sample of 370 employees of a large southeastern university responded anonymously to questionnaires. Results indicated that needfor clarity is in fact an independent predictor of job satisfaction, with high need for clarity related to low job satisfaction. In addition, needfor clarity added significantly to prediction of job satisfaction, beyond that for role ambiguity as a sole predictor. However, need for clarity did not function as a true moderator variable.
