USING POLICY‐CAPTURING TO MEASURE ATTITUDES IN ORGANIZATIONAL DIAGNOSIS

The need for an indirect method of attitude measurement that could be applied on an individual basis was suggested. Policy‐capturing was proposed as filling all requirements. When used in 3 experiments, this method detected prejudicial attitudes toward females that were not detected using traditional, direct methods.
