LOCATION AND SPATIAL PRICING FOR PUBLIC FACILITIES
研究了公共设施在不同管理目标下的最优选址问题,并允许管理者通过运费吸收来调整消费者支付的价格,发现管理目标、运费吸收与设施最优规模和间距之间存在系统性互动。
ABSTRACT. Past analysis of public facility location has generally assumed a single goal, such as cost minimization or welfare maximization, and exogenous spatial pricing. This paper considers optimal facility location under a variety of goals. Furthermore, the facility manager is allowed to engage in freight absorption so that the delivered price to consumers need not reflect actual transportation costs. A systematic interaction among management goals, freight absorption, and the optimal size and spacing of public facilities is found.
