International Data Sources for Empirical Research in Financial Management

N Empirical research contributes significantly to the study of financial management, providing descriptive theory and determining the descriptive fit of premises underlying normative theory [3]. While empirical researchers in financial management are dependent upon, and familiar with, financial data sources in the United States, they may not know much about the availability of foreign data. To remedy this state of affairs, international data bases, which provide financial information on a regularly-updated basis, will be identified here. Hopefully, information provided by this study will facilitate more extensive research into the international dimensions of financial management.
