A Silk Purse From the Sow's Ear: Retrieving Normative Information From Multidimensional Forced-Choice Items
提出一种心理测量方法,从多维迫选格式中提取规范信息,同时保留其抗伪装的特性,为研究者提供估计规范特质水平的方法。
This article presents a psychometric approach for extracting normative information from multidimensional forced-choice (MFC) formats while retaining the method's faking-resistant property. The approach draws on concepts from Coombs's unfolding models and modern item response theory to develop a theoretical model of the judgment process used to answer MFC items, which is then used to develop a scoring system that provides estimates of normative trait standings.
