Fruit-tree replacement in discrete time: An application in Central Macedonia
研究了希腊中马其顿地区果树的最佳更替时间,以净现值最大化为标准,比较了梨、苹果和桃树的经济优劣,并给出了果园更替的优化建议。
The method of replacement in discrete time, using as criterion the maximisation of the net present value of profits over a sequence of production periods, has been applied to fruit trees growing in Central Macedonia of Greece. Assuming zero scrap value at the end of the orchard life useful results are given about the optimal replacement time of each kind of tree, the economic preferability of the main trees growing in the area (pear, apple and peach), and the optimal time of replacement of an already existing orchard of one kind of tree by another which is economically more preferable.
