The Finnish food industry facing European integration: Strategies and policies
研究了芬兰加入欧盟后食品工业的战略调整,基于企业数据将竞争策略分为六类,指出大型企业多采用差异化或分销导向策略,并强调产业链整合的重要性。
Agricultural and food policies have been stable in Finland for some years. Neither agriculture nor the food industry have needed to redefine strategies, but as EU accession changes the policy environment, strategies must also change. Strategies for the food industry are defined through a taxonomy of competitive advantage based on cross-sectional firm-level data. Six clusters emerged. The largest firms seem to follow either a differentiation strategy competing with a wide product range or a distributor-oriented push strategy competing with fewer products. Closer integration of the Finnish food chain will be essential in the EU single market.
