Organizational infidelity: How violations of trust affect the employee-employer relationship
研究信任水平差异如何影响员工对心理契约违背的感知及后续态度,发现高信任与低信任员工反应不同。
The article reports on a study conducted by Sandra Robinson regarding the relationship between psychological contracts and organizational trust. The objectives of the research were to examine the effect of differences in trust levels on individuals' perceptions of a contract breach, and to investigate employees' reactions to such perceived breach. Results showed that respondents truly believed that their organizations would uphold their ends of the psychological contracts. Robinson also found that the pre-breach trust levels of employees tended to affect both perceptions of contract breaches and post-breach attitudes. Finally, the study indicated similar differences in regard to how high trust and low trust employees reacted to subsequent contract violations.
