What Every Manager Should Know: Does Personality Help Drive Employee Motivation?

The article reports on research pertaining to personality and employee motivation. Researchers focused on specific personality traits including neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness, and conscientiousness. The implications of the study are that managers can be confident that certain personality traits help drive employee motivation.
