Information in a dynamic management model: an application to plant-tissue analysis and fertilisation
使用随机动态规划模型确定农作物氮肥施用的最优水平和时机,评估植物组织采样信息的经济价值,发现信息价值虽小但存在。
A stochastic dynamic programming model is used to determine the economically optimal level and timing of nitrogen fertilisation in an agronomic crop. The model incorporates plant-tissue sampling as a crop monitoring device which provides information for a midseason fertilisation application. The optimal decision rule is compared to alternative fertilisation strategies which do not explicitly make use of tissue sampling information. Results indicate a value of information associated with tissue sampling although it is quite small in some cases.
