More Light on Integrability, Symmetry, and Utility as Potential Energy in Mirowski’s Critical History
This paper criticizes Philip Mirowski's discussion of Slutsky conditions, integrability, and prices as a conservative field in More Heat than Light (1989). It argues that despite such criticism, a weaker version of Mirowski's position can still be defended and that such a weaker version could continue to support Mirowski's general thesis about the relationship between neoclassical economics and energy physics.
