Do mergers make acquired executives feel inferior? You bet!
翻译了Hambrick和Cannella的研究,发现并购中被收购公司高管离职率较高,且常感到地位低于收购方高管,这会影响并购成功。
This article translates the research conducted by Professors Donald C. Hambrick and Albert A. Cannella Jr. which suggests that executive turnover is an indicator of failure. The researches were interested in determining what affect the departure of executives at the acquired firm in a merger had on the overall success of the merger. The author discusses some of the findings from their research which included higher rates of departure when the acquired firm performed poorly and indications that often times the executives of the acquired firm will be place in a position of inferiority to the executives of the acquiring firm.
