A NOTE ON THE LOCATION OF MEDICAL FACILITIES
提出一种估算医疗设施间理想距离的方法，在设施规模增大提升生存率与距离增大降低生存率之间权衡，找出使生存率最大化的设施间距。
ABSTRACT In this note, I present a method to estimate the desired distance between medical facilities. The survival rate of patients improves when the facility is larger, however larger facilities result in a longer driving distance to the facility which decreases the survival rate. I identify the desired distance between facilities for which the survival rate is maximized.
