STUDYING THE EFFECTS OF PARENTING ATTITUDES IN MENTAL-SOCIAL HEALTH (SELF-CONCEPT, SOCIAL INTERACTION) OF TEENS
研究了母亲教养态度对14岁女中学生心理社会维度(自我概念和社会互动)的影响,发现父母消极教养图式越多,青少年心理社会水平越低。
This study was done on the female teens to deliberate the prospectivecomponents of the treatment by parents, and their relevance to thepsychological-social dimensions (self-concept-social interaction).Accordingly, 120 school girls with an average age of 14 years, were chosenthrough software G power random test, among Tabadkan students and thestudents of Educational zone no.2 in Mashhad, to answer IndividualProtective Factors Index (IPFI) test. Their parents also were to answerYoung parenting inventory (YPI). The achieved results indicated that theprospective components of the treatment by parents were significantlyeffective on the teens ‘psychological-social dimensions. It means, the morenegative parenting schemas they have in their treatment style, the lowerpsychological-social level their teens will have; on the contrary, the parentswho have less negative parenting schemas, will have the teens with highself-concepts and self-efficacies and strong psychological and socialadjustment.
