Business Ecosystem Definition in Built Environment Using a Stakeholder Assessment Process
提出一个三步利益相关者评估过程,结合网络图、显著性模型和二维矩阵,用于定义建筑环境中的商业生态系统,并通过校园案例验证其适用性。
Actors and their relationships are core elements of the business \necosystem concept, a trending model of business collaboration \nemphasizing organizational diversity, relationship dependency \nand joint evolution. This study approaches a built environment \nbusiness ecosystem to structure the acknowledged complexity of \necosystem definition by applying a three-step stakeholder assessment \nprocess. The process is based on a stakeholder network diagram, \nMitchell, Agle, and Wood’s (1997) well-recognized stakeholder \nsalience model and a two-dimensional stakeholder matrix. \nThe assessment process is applied to a school campus case \nstudy to define a built environment business ecosystem and the \nsalience of the ecosystem actors. Results, including salience score \ncalculation, validate the applicability of the proposed process. The \nfindings provide novel insights for ecosystem researchers into \nhow stakeholder theory concepts can be applied to broaden the \nunderstanding of business ecosystem dynamics.
