The article analyzessome aspects ofthe legal provisionof cross-borderinter-municipal cooperationin the documents ofthe Council of Europeratifiedin Ukraine, which aim to achieve greater unity "between Territorial Communities or Authorities", realizing the ideals and principles which are their common heritage, in sustainable development based on a balanced relationship between social needs, economic activity and the environment plays an important social role in the cultural, ecological, environmental and social fields and constitutes a resource that promotes well-being and consolidation of the European identity.
