A Conversation With Milton Blood: The New AACSB Standards

Milton R. Blood is managing director of Accreditation Services for AACSB International--The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. In this role, Milton has played an important part in bringing together representatives from colleges and universities throughout the world to help formulate quality standards for AACSB-accredited schools and to help advance worldwide the relevance of education for member and nonmember schools of business and management. Dr. Blood has been a major force in guiding, articulating, and interpreting AACSB standards since July 1983. Given the April 2003 changes in the standards, we thought it would be beneficial to ask for Milton Blood's perspective, and how he thinks these changes will affect business school leadership.
