Guy Geeraerts In this article results are presented that show that the relationship between the size of an organization and its structure is modified by the status of the management of the firm. These findings may explain the erratic intersample behavior of correlations between size and structure. It is also argued that they point to the possible existence of differences in the socialization patterns of managers.
