Distance and Directional Analyses of Settlement Patterns
将平原上的城镇视为地图上的点,通过点间距离分析聚落格局,并利用最近邻方向揭示原始迁移轴线,以阿根廷平原为例。
If towns on a plain are regarded as points on a map then the recent work on the analysis of pattern using distances between points may be used to gain possible insights into the nature of the process leading to the town locations. Furthermore, if attention focuses on the direction of the nearest neighboring town, then the original axes of migration may be displayed. These ideas are illustrated in the context of a plain in Argentina.
