Flexible Income Programming: Comment
评论了Rose和Mehr提出的灵活人寿保险规划模型,指出其设计存在重大问题,在作为规划工具发布前应进行修改。
In an article in this Journal, Professors Rose and Mehr [RM] described a life insurance programming model which substantially improves upon both the old static models and the dynamic programming model developed by Belth over 15 years ago [3; 4]. However, in designing their flexible programming model, and in proposing that it be used primarily by life insurers in conjunction with the sale of a new geometrically increasing life annuity product, RM apparently overlooked some major questions. This author believes that the focus of the flexible model is problematical, and that several changes should have been made before it was presented to the public as a programming tool.
