Base on the global urbanization practice,the mega-city has been and will always be the center of the urbanization,and even if the urbanization step is stagnant,the mega-city will continuously be overspread. The number of mega-cities has been more and more since the reform and opening-up in China,and it is a main character of Chinese urbanization period. The GDP of all the mega-cities is the main part of our country GDP,and they are generally the centers of their zone development,maintaining a big number of floating population. Analyzing the datum of GDP,urban population and the surface area of built district of the mega-cities,we will find the real situations and problems of Chinese mega-cities,and catch the helpful method to redefine the mega-city development policy.
