GLOBALIZATION AND LOCALIZATION: INSIGHTS FROM THE PC-RELATED INDUSTRY IN THE MAINLAND CHINA
基于北京、东莞、苏州PC产业集群的实地调研，分析了过去十年中国大陆PC产业的空间重组与区域间联系，为区域产业政策提供启示。
Based on the field research on PC-related industrial clusters in Beijing, Dongguan and Suzhou, this paper examines the changing spatial structure of PC-related industry in the Mainland China in last decade. Following a brief review of the debate on industrial cluster and the dynamics of global PC market environment, the spatial restructure and the inter-regional linkages among three local PC-related industrial clusters is analyzed in the context of the globalization of the production of PC industry. Finally, some implications for regional industrial policy are proposed in the conclusion.
