基于生态足迹模型,计算了1990年和2001年中国各省的生产生态足迹,衡量经济生产中的自然资源需求,发现北方、城市和西部牧区资源需求较高,南方省份需求也在增长。

Abstract

The ecological footprint(EF) model has been introduced to China and has attracted much attention from scholars in recent years.As a model,ecological footprint can measure the resource requirements in regional production and consumption activities,namely production footprint and consumption footprint.While biological capacity measures regional resource supplies.When ecological footprint surpasses the biological capacity,the region will be in a state of unsustainable development.Based on the EF(ecological footprint) model and it's relative researches,the author calculated China's provincial production ecological footprint in 1990 and 2001 to measure regional natural resource demand in economic production,which can be regarded as an important indicator for further regional sustainable development assessment.The results show that: mainly due to the difference of natural resource distribution and the related industrial structure,northern region,urban region and western pasture-dominated region all have higher resource demand on the natural environment;at the same time,with the rapid economic development,the southern provinces are also facing in increasing demand,though now the demand are relatively small;the changes of unsustainable production model for all regions are necessary.
