Complicated Science and the Revolution of City Planning
本文从当前城市规划学科的混乱现状出发，提出城市本质是复杂自适应系统，并总结了新理性主义的四个特性及七个关键点，为城市规划的革命提供方法论。
Starting from the analysis on the confusing presentation and the reasons to the current city planning subjects,the paper proposes the essential property of the city being Complicated Auto-adapting System(CAS)and summarizes the methodology of the revolution of city planning,the four properties of the new rationalism:from the sole continuity to the co-existing of continuity and un-continuity,from determinacy to the co-existing of determinacy and indeterminacy,from dividablity to the co-existing of the dividability and undividability,from the strict predictability to co-existing of predictability and unpredictability.Based on the four co-existing,it gives seven key points for the revolution of city planning corresponding to CAS,evaluating during the program of city planning,undertaking the low-impact development,emphasizing the inter-nested city structure,proposing mixed land usage and communication space,implementing the rebuilding charming community,advocating flexible planning structure and forming the coordinating system of cities group.
