THE REVIEW AND NEW PROGRESS IN CHINA'S URBAN GEOGRAPHY SINCE 1980
基于1980至2000年中英文期刊文献数据，回顾了中国城市地理学在城镇结构、区域城镇体系、城市化及新方法等领域的研究成果，并借鉴西方经验展望发展趋势。
Based on the statistical data of related literature in both Chinese and foreign geography and some other journals from year 1980 to 2000, this paper reviews the development of urban geography in China from 1980's. It summarize the fields and achievement in the research from some aspects separately, including urban structure, regional town system, urbanization, new fields and new method, and some other related fields, and present the trend of the development by using those in western countries for reference.
