THE ANALYSIS OF DIFFERENCES IN CHONGQING URBAN AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT BASED ON THEIL AND GINI COEFFICIENT
使用泰尔指数和基尼系数两种方法，基于2003-2007年数据，分析重庆城乡发展差异的规模、趋势及成因，发现地理差异是主因。
Theil and Gini coefficient are two basic methods to research differences in urban and rural development.Based on Changing’s relative statistical indicators in urban and rural development from 2003 to 2007,the two methods are applied to research the differences of Chongqing urban and rural development,on which differences on size and trend is reflected and decomposed.Therefore,the relation between differences in urban and rural development and polarization of urban and rural development is reflected as well as.The principal reason of differences in Chongqing urban and rural development is the geographical variation.To eliminate the differences of Chongqing urban and rural development,we should draw our attention to the overall urban and rural development.
