CITIES COMPETITIVENESS:A SYSTEMATIC ANALYSIS FRAMEWORK AND ITS APPLICATION——CITIES COMPETITIVENESS EVALUATION AND ANALYSIS OF HUAIHAI ECONOMY AREA
基于系统概念提出城市竞争力评价方法，用吸引力、处理效率和产出能力三类指标，通过主成分分析对淮海经济区20个城市进行排名和分析。
On the base of system concept, a method to evaluate city competitiveness is presented in this paper. The method is mainly supported by three types of indicators, such as the attractive power to scarce resources, the processing efficiency to input elements and ability of output by a city. Then, the competitiveness of twenty cities in Huaihai economic area is calculated and ranked with the aid of PCA(principal components analysis). Finally, the analysis of the result is mentioned.
