RESEARCH ON SPATIAL SYSTEM OF INNOVATION IN THE CITIES OF GUANGDONG PROVINCE
研究了广东省三个工业化时期城市创新系统的动态变化，发现城市经济实力、城市化水平和外商直接投资是普遍影响因素，而人才教育水平在准工业化和早期工业化阶段是主要影响因素。
In the background of the globalization and knowledge economyage,innovation has become the key factor for enhancing competitiveness of country,region and city, and also is important driven force of economic development. Therefore, innovation is primary strategic choice for development of all the counties. The dynamic change of innovation system was assessed elementally during three periods of urban industrialization in Guangdong province and main factors that influence the innovation ability were discovered in this study. This study indicates that, in different periods of economic development, the influence factors differ somewhat. Urban economic strength, urbanization level, foreign direct investment and so on are generality factors that influence city innovation in all periods of urban economic development in Guangdong Province. However, talent educational level is the main influencing factors in stages of quasi-industrialization and early industrialization.
