Abstract

My thesis takes Children's Hospital of Fudan University as an example to research the relationship between the Class 3A comprehensive hospital,which are scarce resources,and the nearby house price and population distribution by quantitative and qualitative methods. According to my study,in the east and west direction,the hospital- residential distance and the housing price has a cubic relation: within 0.713km,as the weighted distance between the hospital and residential area increases,the housing price also goes up; from 0.713km to 2.048km,as the weighted distance increases,the housing price goes down; above 2.048km to the edge of the study area,as the weighted distance increases,the housing price also goes up. In the south and the north direction,the hospital-residential distance and the housing price also have a significant cubic relation. Within the study area,as the weighted distance between the hospital and the neighborhood decreases,the effects of the hospital decrease,the housing price increases. So Children's Hospital of Fudan University really has significant effects on the surrounding population distribution and its radiation radius is about 2 km.Within the 2km to the 0.31km,with the weighted distance between the hospital and the neighborhood decreases,the population density of the neighborhood takes on a rapid upward trend. Class 3A comprehensive hospital,as a scarce medical resource,has an obvious combined effect on population distribution. However,at the point of 0.31km,the population density of the nearest neighborhood to the hospital has a sharp drop; it is much lower than that of the farer neighborhoods.
