A STUDY OF THE CULTURE OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN FUJIAN
研究了福建传统区域文化对可持续发展的影响，指出开放、重商、重教等积极文化特征以及唯利是图、多子多福、迷信等不利传统。
Fujian province is one of the highest growth regions in the coastal zone of China since reform and opening to the outsideworld. However, it is very urgent to coordinate the relationships of the economic development, the large population and the dete-riorated ecology and resource. The paper through a study of the culture connotation, mainly discuses the influence of regional tra-ditional culture on regional sustainable development, and taking Fujian example, puts forward the positive culture features of open-ing to the outside world, paying attention to business, education and relative and the unfavorable traditions of being blinded bylust for gain, bearing multi-children and hankering after sorcery.
