Country's urbanization is the important carrier of farmers' becoming urban residents; however, it doesn't necessarily result in farmers' becoming urban residents directly. Farmers' becoming urban residents is not only the change of careers and residences, but the change of culture and the reorganization of various social relations. According to the current process of farmers' becoming urban residents, we ought to make our efforts to solve the problems of carriers, policies, makings and ideas for this change as well as prompt farmers to enjoy equal treatment as urban residents in the aspects of careers, rights, welfare, etc. Based upon the unification between urban and rural areas, by making and performing due policies, we will accomplish the change of farmers' becoming urban residents.
