EVOLUTION AND DYNAMIC MECHANISM OF URBAN FORM IN THE PERIOD OF RAPID URBANIZATION——A CASE STUDY OF WUHU

The dynamic mechanisms of urban form evolving in the period of rapid urbanization are comprehensively summarized as: industrial structure regulation leading to the change of land-use structure;change of state policy leading to different land-use and dwelling district relocation which could reflect the new social hierarchy differentiation;development zone leading to the changing of urban spatial structure from concentric sprawl to axial growing;urban planning management leading to the basic framework of the city;geographic constraint leading to the emergence of a linear city and urban administration division leading to the sudden change and the annexing non-homogeneous characteristics of urban form.
