Urban renewal and reconstruction is one comprehensive social systematic project,and this thesis tries to analyze the occidental's successful experiences and abortive lessons about the urban renewal and reconstruction in the last century and recollect the problems emerging from our country's urban renewal and reconstruction,so as to seek some helpful instructive enlightenments in protecting historical context,rehabilitating social environment,exploiting the tourist resources,integrating the landscapes and communities,clustering the tourist industry and promoting the urban sustainable development.
