Historical culture attractions play a significant role in the development of China's tourism, and developing historical culture attraction resources at a higher level is one of essentials to make China's tourism progress fast and sustainable. So in the planning and developing periods of historical culture attractions, some relevant monographic studies are indispensable and obligatory, which include studies on when attractions created and their regional background, on formation, continuity, evolution and change of attractions, on owners and operators of attractions, on attractions themselves, on preservation and use of attractions, as well as on other relevant factors.
