Through analyzing the current issues of the land_use and the impetus agents of the renewal and reclaim in the urban waterfront, combined with the reclaim and planning of the old industrial district in the east bank of Yongjiang River in Ningbo, the article discusses the land_use strategy on the urban waterfront renewal. It mainly includes establishing the perfect land's reserve system, selecting the reasonable functional layout, and drawing up the principle of the land development's control and guidance.
