Industrial Structure Convergence in Western Regions of Shandong Province
研究了山东省17个城市三次产业结构、制造业及其内部结构的变动趋势，发现西部地区三次产业结构高度趋同，但制造业及其内部结构趋同不明显，存在结构差异。
Rapid economic and social development as well as significant optimization of industrial structures have been observed in western regions of Shandong Province in recent decades.Some leading economic indicators,which have been always behind,catch up with or close to the provincial average,simultaneously,the phenomenon of industrial structure divergence is demonstrated at the macro level.In present study,empirical analyses are conducted to investigate variational tendency of three industrial structures,the manufacturing industry and the internal structure of manufacturing industry.The results indicate that a high degree of industrial structure convergence has been found in three industrial structures of 17 cities in Shandong Province,especially for the three cities in western regions.However,it is not obvious for industrial structure convergence of manufacturing industry and its internal structures,and the industrial structure divergence is identified.Consequently,cause Analysis is carried out to study industrial structure convergence of western regions of Shandong Province,and the related recommendations are proposed.
