Spatio-Temporal Pattern and Mechanism of Economic Development Discrepancy in Provincial Border-Regions: A Case Study of Hubei-Henan-Anhui-Jiangxi
以鄂豫皖赣四省交界地区为案例，分析省际边界县域经济发展的时空格局，发现其经济水平低、空间集聚弱、低水平俱乐部趋同明显，且边界屏障的“剪切效应”远大于“桥梁效应”。
Based on Hubei-Henan-Anhui-Jiangxi as the research angle,the spatio-tem-poral pattern of provincial borderregions economic differences were analyzed. The study found that: ①The economic development and marginal rates of counties in Hubei-Henan-Anhui-Jiangxi provincial border-regions are in a low level,relative economic development rate is low, economic development evolved into a vicious circle of low level; the economic development of counties in space has the characteristic ofhigh-level scatters,low-level gathers, low level counties spread to all around along boundary line,and boundary effects become increasingly evident; the county economy development level of spatial agglomeration, but overall space agglomeration is weak, club convergence effect of low level shows obviously. ② Under the effect of natural location, economic base, economic structure, the government,border barrier and macroeconomic environment, the resultingbridge effectis far less thanshear effect, forming the pattern of regional economy.
