Price-restricted housing refers to the governmental direct control over the real estate market,a kind of typical administrative regulation.The government participates in the market competition directly through limiting the prices of land and housing.Economic analysis about the price-restricted housing shows that,it may lead to excessive demand,seller-preference,and therefore government-preference as a substitute for seller-preference.What's more,price-restricted housing may cause a distorted market,low-quality in construction,even black market,corruption and waste of resources.As price-restricted housing is a kind of typical brick subsidy,a conclusion is drawn that the brick subsidy must change to individual subsidy and that we should pay much attention to developing low-rent housing.
