The paper describes the characters of labour structure and change of the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone (PRDEZ), from the view of the industry structure, trade structure, origin structure and literacy structure. Complying with the direction of instury upgrade of PRDEZ, the paper analyzes the advantageous and disadvantageous conditions of labour structure that influence the industry upgrade of PRDEZ.
