Predicaments and Outlet of New Urban Zone Industrial Upgrading in China Under New-Type Urbanization Background——A Case Study of Jimei District,Xiamen
研究新型城镇化背景下新城区产业升级的驱动因素，以厦门集美区为例，发现经济增长、技术创新和外商直接投资对产业升级效果不显著，面临粗放增长、外资吸引力下降和创新不足等困境，提出转向市场导向和加强产业链网络的对策。
The core task of new urban zone economic development under new-type urbanization background is industrial upgrading and transformation of development mode.By summarizing and analyzing the driving factors of industrial upgrading,We find that economic growth,technological innovation and international direct investment are effective ways to promote industrial upgrading.But the development practice of Jimei district shows that economic growth,technological innovation and foreign direct investment and the other factors have no significant effects on upgrading of new urban zone industrial in the future.The process and features of Jimei economic development suggested that Jimei industrial upgrading faced development difficulties,such as extensive economic growth mode which has negative impact on sustainable development of industry,attractiveness to foreign direct investment declined and weak ability of technological innovation.In the future,the focus of Jimei industrial upgrading is to shift economic growth from investment-oriented to market-oriented and strengthen the local industry chain networking.
