The Study Review of Urban Jobs-Housing Balance
梳理了职住平衡概念的形成、测量方法及西方学者对其有效性和实施路径的不同观点,最后为中国城市空间结构与规划研究提供启示。
Jobs-Housing Balance is a planning idea formed in the process of western urban planners fighting with city illness and then was turned into urban policy by some American local governments for controlling traffic congestion and air pollution in 1980s. This paper started with the meaning and measurement of job-housing balance, reviewed the formation and development of this idea briefly and highlighted the different viewpoints of western scholars on the validity and approach of this policy. At the end, some enlightenment are given to the research of urban spatial structure and city planning in China.
