Abstract

In considering the effect of tourism-generating regions, this paper tries to study the possibility of realizing spatial integration by combining the tourism lines based on the analysis of the quantity, quality and spatial distribution characters of scenic spots as well as the accessibility of transportation network. The Dahongshan Mountain Cross-border tourism region in Hubei Province is chosen as the sample of this case study, in which the whole 14 A-level scenic spots are taken as the main study objects. After contemplating all the A- level tourism resources in the studied region, we evaluate the spatial distribution differences and equilibrium degree of these scenic spots through location quotient and Gink coefficient; then we solve both internal and external(from the tourism- generating regions to the study region)accessibility of the studied region with OD matrix method. After that, we designs three cross-border integration tourist lines with different themes, work out the routes which cost least time from the main tourism-generating regions through route analyst method, then compare the three routes with those promoted by the counties in the study region on the spent time. At last, we come to these conclusions. First, the cross- border tourism region has the potential to grow up to the tourism growth pole of higher-class region where it's located by improving the system made up of(scenic) spots and(transportation) axis, enough attention on the tourism marketing of the main markets should be put at the same time.Second, it's helpful to enhance the tourists marginal experience income. Third, the marketing-orienting network analysis is a kind of effective method to deeply explore the integration of cross-border tourism lines.
