In the study of the Sustainable Development of the Valley, the Decision Support System is one important method that could help us getting data rapidly, correctly, all-sidedly, continuously, and dealing with it in time, And it is also important in raising the level of the study and decision. The construction of the Valley Sustainable Development Decision Support System (VSDDSS) must obey such fundamental rules as systematic, Validity, practicability, versatility, expandability, interfacial friendly etc. VSDDSS is composed of three elemental modules: data query and access, ancillary decision support and graphics management. Each module is base on several subsystems, the interconnection and communication between the modules is finished by the system of data picking and transformation subsystem. the database of economy, resource and environment is an important part of VSDDSS, it has the feature as following: (1)The data is unified and regular; (2)The user can combine the data freely; (3)The absence data is dealing with by speak with user; (4)The method is selected by data; VSDDSS has the function that the information of the economy, resources and environment can be looked up, accessed and updated, the synthesis analysis and evaluation can be realized, the information of the economy, resources and environment of the Valley is managed scientifically and shared by the whole society, and that the development plan and decision scheme consultation can be provided.
