Abstract

In recent years,the effects of urban railway on the land use structure around the station have been widely studied.However,due to lack of effective quantitative evaluation model,these researches,which focused on the qualitative interpretation of mechanism that railway traffic effects the land use structure and paid less attention to quantitative studies,thus make it difficult to objectively reflect the process and the complex nature of the effects that urban railway transmit put on the land use structure.In this paper through GIS spatial analysis tool,based on Information Entropy Theory,the author applies information entropy model and equilibrium degree model of land use structure to evaluate the land use structure of five traffic station of the Shenzhen Metro Line 1 at two distinct time points,prior to the commencement of the metro line and after the accomplishment.The results showed:effects of the metro line on land use structure around the station indicate different characteristics between the traditional center and a new district.In traditional central business district land use information entropy and equilibrium degree slipped,while in a new district the two indexes rise.The causes of this phenomenon rely on that,the construction of urban railway(more obvious especially in such connecting the traditional center and the new districts)relatively weakens the accessibility that the traditional center District used to posses as a advantage;meanwhile the accessibility of new district relatively and absolutely improves.
