THE IMPACTS OF CHINA- ASEAN FREE TRADE AREA ON REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT PATTERN OF CHINA AND CHINA'S ADAPTIVE STRATEGIES
评估中国-东盟自由贸易区建立对中国区域发展的影响，发现广西、云南与越南处于竞争而非合作状态，并提出以北部湾经济圈为重点的应对策略。
Regional integration and economic globalization are the most significant two trends in the global economic development.China has propelled the development of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area(CAFTA) as an important strategy to accept the challenge of regional integration and economic globalization.The article assesses the impact of the establishment of CAFTA on China's regional development and puts forward some suggestions.The study has revealed that: ①cooperation with ASEAN,which has the lowest risk,the highest benefit and the solidest foundation,is the most mature part in the pattern of opening to the neighboring countries;②Guangxi,Yunnan and Viet-Nam,which are located in the frontier area of China-ASEAN region,are mostly in a competition situation rather than cooperation,further,in the competition with Viet-Nam,Guangxi and Yunnan do not hold all the trumps in policy support,location advantage,central city advantage,natural resources,etc.③ Aiming at the two-corridors-and-one-circle conception propelled by Viet-Nam,China should take strategies as a reaction of stressing the Beibu Bay Economic Circle,emphasizing the Nanning-Ho Noi-Corridor and extending it towards Singapore.
